If your invitation includes a guest, we’d be delighted to have them join in the celebration!

Formal attire, please. Suits for guys and long or midi dresses for the ladies. We look forward to celebrating in style with you! Weather permitting, the ceremony will take place on the golf course. Block heels or flats are recommended.

Yes! We will have shuttles for guests staying at the Brook Trout Inn, Holiday Inn and Comfort Inn. We will also organize shuttles for the nearby rentals (see link to list in the travel section) If you have questions about rentals feel free to reach out to Ange Young at 252-531-5506 or email younggitlinwedding@gmail.com. Please let us know if you book a rental from the list so we can plan accordingly. Check back for more details in the coming months.

Guests are welcome to begin arriving anytime after 4:30, with the ceremony starting promptly at 5:00.

You can fly into either Asheville, NC (AVL - 45 mins to Lake Toxaway) or Greenville, SC (GSP - 90 mins to Lake Toxaway) — both are great options!

Uber and Lyft are NOT reliable near Lake Toxaway, so we recommend renting a car at the airport for the weekend if you want to do any exploring. There are a few local transportation companies, but they can't guarantee they are available all weekend.

In September, the weather in Lake Toxaway, North Carolina, is typically warm, with highs in the 70s and lows in the 50s.

The closest large grocery stores are Ingles and Food Lion in Brevard, or Ingles in Cashiers. All of these options are about 30 minutes away, so it might be a good idea to stop on the way in for any needed supplies. There is a lovely little market close to the entrance of Lake Toxaway Estates (15889 Rosman Hwy) called the Historic Toxaway Market. This market has a nice selection of wine, cheese, gourmet snacks, some produce and a little bit of everything.
